Brow Appointment 33165: Tint, Lami or a Brow Mask? | With Love, Beauty

Brow Appointment 33165: Tint, Lami or a Brow Mask?

If you're looking at a brow appointment in 33165 and staring at my menu wondering which line to tap, you're not alone. Tint, lamination and the brow mask all sit on the same brow menu, they all make brows look better, and they do completely different jobs. Here's the short version: tint adds color, lamination changes the direction your hairs grow, and the brow mask is a quick conditioning add-on. Pick the one that matches the problem you're actually trying to fix.

I'm Jackiee, and I run With Love, Beauty out of a private suite on Bird Road in Westchester. These are the conversations I have with clients every week, so I figured I'd put the whole thing in writing.

Booking a brow appointment in 33165: start with the problem

Before we talk services, look at your brows in natural light and be honest about what bugs you. Most people land in one of three camps.

  • "My brows disappear." The shape is fine, but the hairs are light, blonde or patchy at the tail, so the brow fades out on camera. That's a color problem, and color is what tint fixes.
  • "My brows won't behave." You've got hair, but it grows down, sideways or in swirls, and no gel holds it through a humid Miami afternoon. That's a direction problem, and that's where lamination comes in.
  • "My brows feel rough." They look okay but feel dry or wiry, especially if you've had lamination before. That's a condition thing, and the brow mask is the easy answer.

Plenty of people have two of those at once, which is why combos exist. But knowing which one bothers you most keeps you from paying for a result you didn't want.

Brow tint: color and definition without the routine

On my menu, tint comes paired with a shape as Brow Shaping + Tint, which is $55+ and runs 50+ minutes. I use a hybrid tint that lasts 5 to 10 days on the skin and up to 6 weeks on the hair. That skin stain is the part people love in the first week, because it reads like you filled your brows in with a pencil, and then it softens into just darker, fuller-looking hair.

Tint is the right call when your shape is already working and you just want it to show up. It's also great for anyone with light or sparse brows who's tired of doing makeup every morning. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, tell me when you book, since a patch test is recommended in that case.

What tint won't do is move hair. If your brows grow flat or point downward, tinting them just gives you darker hair pointing the same way.

Brow lamination: what it costs in Miami and who it's for

Brow lamination restructures the brow hairs into a fluffy, brushed-up shape that lasts 4 to 8 weeks. On my menu it's $100+ and takes 60+ minutes, and there are 6 tier options so we can dial in how much lift and hold you get. That "+" matters: the starting price is the base tier, and where you land depends on the look we build together.

Lamination is for the "won't behave" crowd. It's also a good fit if your brows look thin mostly because the hairs lie flat against the skin. Brush them up and set them, and suddenly the same hair covers a lot more space. I covered the step-by-step of the process in my brow lamination guide, so here I'll just say this: lamination changes direction, not color. If your hair is light, lami on its own can look a bit see-through at the tips, which is why so many clients pair it with color.

For the first 24 hours afterward, keep your brows dry and skip oil-based products around the brow area. That's what helps the result last toward the longer end of the range.

Lash lift and brow lamination in one visit

If you're already thinking about your lashes, there's a combo for that on the lash menu. Lash Lift & Tint + Brow Lami is $190 for 80 minutes, so you leave with curled, tinted lashes and fluffy, set brows from one trip to Bird Road. If you're coming from Kendall, Sweetwater or West Miami, that's one drive instead of two.

The brow mask: small, quick, and worth adding

The Brow Mask is $15 and takes 10 minutes. It's a nourishing treatment meant to keep brow hairs healthy and conditioned. It isn't a standalone transformation, and I'd never sell it as one. Think of it like a hair mask after a big color day: it's there to keep things soft and in good shape.

It makes the most sense tacked onto a visit you're already making, especially if you laminate regularly or your brows feel dry. Since it's only ten minutes, it barely changes your appointment length.

So which one should you book?

Here's how I'd steer you if you were sitting in my chair:

  • Shape is good, color is the issue: book Brow Shaping + Tint ($55+).
  • Hair grows in every direction, or looks thin because it lies flat: book Brow Lamination ($100+).
  • Brows feel dry or you laminate often: add the Brow Mask ($15) to whatever you're already booking.
  • Never been to me before and not sure what you need: start with First Time Brows (Brow Mapping) at $50 for 35 minutes. That's where I measure and map your brows to your face, and we can plan tint or lami from there.

And if you're after the thin, sculpted arch instead of fluffy, none of the above is really your service. That's the cunty brows look, which is mostly tweezer work and its own appointment.

When you're ready, you can book online through GlossGenius and pick the exact service there. I'd love to see you at the studio, and if you're stuck between two options, mention it in your booking notes and we'll sort it out together when you come in. With love, Jackiee.
